The law, Public Law 106-395, amends the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) to permit foreign-born children-including adopted children - to acquire citizenship automatically if they meet certain requirements. It became effective on February 27, 2001.
Families for International Adoptions
Families for International Adoptions (F.F.I.C.) is a parent group located in the Grand Rapids area. Organized in 1979, it's goal is to provide information and support to those contemplating international adoption and those who have adopted internationally.
